The Sydney Harbour Suicides
Aren't the interwebs amazeballs? To the left is what my novel might look like if it ever gets published, although I'd like to think the cover would be a bit more professional, as opposed to looking like it's been thrown together in five minutes by some twat using Word and Paint. (Which it was. By me.)

The Sydney Harbour Suicides was longlisted for the 2016 Bridport Prize for a debut novel. I'm now seeking agent representation for it.

The story is – surprise surprise – semi-autobiographical. I spent six months between 2003-2004 working at a high-powered advertising sales office in Grosvenor House on Sydney's George Street. The male-dominated environment was a constant source of writing material. Charley in the toilets, fights on the sales floor and hookers at the Christmas party were all standard.
The novel began as a serious of standalone travel pieces as part of my Creative & Professional Writing degree at the University of Glamorgan (now the University of South Wales) from 2004-2007. However, to give it novel status I have threaded the anecdotes together.
